The Demon of Pride was born at the beginning of time along with its other brothers. Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Why? Without that sense of superiority, you wouldn't have the nerve to flout God by committing the other six.

James was once a very vain prince who lived during the war. His home had been raided and all in the place had died. Ironicly, Pride's outter shell had died, leaving it without a body. Since all of James's pride had feed Pride's needs through the years, it decided to take James for it's new shell. James was reborn into the Underword, a place between Hell and the planet. He was born into the Akira (Hacker) tribe and learned their ways. He soon became the leader after the first one had died. With the power of technology, elctricity and his demon blood, "King" James holds a very high amount of power among the others in the Underworld.
